If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
We adopted Ricky at the shelter in town about 5 years ago. They had said he was about 2 1/2 at the time so he should be almost 7 1/2 now.
He needs a home with kind, loving owners whether they are home bodies or not. He does really well with both. He has young dog energy mixed with the ability to chill for long periods of time too. He just likes to be around people!
I would say he is good with kids but possibly older kids who have been taught how to interact with dogs, not really little toddlers or babies who would want to grab at his face etc.
He loves carrots, frisbee & going on walks.
