Meet bonded pair Genevieve & Baxter! Genevieve is a very sweet 1-year-old young lady, who is truly a social butterfly! This amazing kitty has never met a stranger! She and Baxter immediately fell in love and are now inseparable.
Genevieve loves to play with cat plastic springs and crinkle toys! She is very curious about people and what is going on in the room around her! Genevieve has done well with other cats at the shelter but has not lived with kids or dogs. We noticed that Genevieve seemed to be in pain when we touched the base of her tail. We did x-rays and it showed the space between her vertebrae by her tail bone is smaller than normal which was causing her pain. We don't know if it was caused by trauma or if it's a congenital issue. We started her on Gabapentin and now she's running around like crazy. She will probably need to be on this long term.
