We are looking to rehome our beloved cat, Frank, due to a major life change (we are expecting our first child) and the need to ensure safety and stability for both Frank and our family.
Frank is a neutered male cat diagnosed with Feline Hyperesthesia Syndrome (FHS), a neurological/sensory condition that affects his impulse control and sensitivity to touch and stress. Because of this, he has a low tolerance for overstimulation and frustration and can become reactive in certain predictable situations.
His triggers include:
Overstimulation from petting
Frustration when blocked from access
Hunger/anticipation of meals
Competition with another cat for attention
Frank will only do well in:
A quiet, low-stimulation home
As the only pet
With no children
With an experienced adult owner
With consistent routines and predictable environment
