Poinsettia was one of the over 20 cats and kittens dumped in a field outside of Waterloo in late November. She is finally at a point where she is ready for adoption. She is estimated to be 5 years old. We can only imagine what she has endured in those 5 years. Litter after litter of kittens. Braving the elements. She deserves a quiet, soft place to land. This girl is a talker. She loves attention and is affectionate. We are so proud of how far she has come. She has doubled her weight since intake. She was treated for an upper respiratory infection and ringworm which she has now cleared. When she was spayed they noticed fluid in her uterus suggesting she was developing Pyometra. She is definitely a fighter and will not let the struggles of her past define her!
Poinsettia is now healthy, fixed, vaccinated, microchipped, FIV/FeLV negative and comes with a dose of flea prevention. Her adoption fee is $125. She is currently fostered in Reeseville WI.
