My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

# A5747565 Angel is a 10-year-old female domestic shorthair mix with a soft white coat, orange-tipped ears and nose, and stunning blue-grey eyes. Surrendered by her owner on January 3, Angel is as gentle as her name suggests. She’s easy-going, affectionate, and absolutely loves being petted and cuddled — soaking up every bit of love she can get.

Angel has been under the weather and is currently on antibiotics, with a lingering kitty cold, but she’s on the mend. She could use a little weight gain and a well-deserved “spa day” after everything she’s been through. Angel is food-motivated (she loves snacks!) and happiest when she’s cozy, comfortable, and surrounded by kindness. She’ll be adopted on a health waiver so her new family can follow up with their vet. This sweet senior deserves to spend her golden years in warmth, comfort, and love.

More about this rescue

United Hope for Animals is a 501c3 non-profit organization committed to creating a world where our relationship with animals is guided by compassion and responsibility. We actively work toward bringing an end to the needless suffering of companion animals through community-based programs here at home and across the border.

The United States euthanizes more than one million dogs and cats each year. Through our Shelter Support Program, we work in partnership with local shelters to reduce this number by raising public awareness about shelter adoption and facilitating rescue and adoption of sheltered animals. In the process, we bring dignity and hope to the many lives that would otherwise pass anonymously through the animal control system.
