I took in Luna last December after my neighbors kicked her out in the dead of winter. I decided to foster-to-adopt but unfortunately Luna does not get along with my partner's cat (although she does like my dog!).
Luna is always interested in what her people are doing. She meows when she wants to play with her favorite feather fishing rod toy. Sometimes she likes pets, but sometimes not! She'll snuggle with you on the couch and let you kiss her head. If she gets in your basement, she will come back covered in cobwebs and utterly pleased with herself. If she gets outside, she'll come back on her own time.
It took Luna a few months to trust me, and I think she had a tough first few years. But she's so cool and fully her own character.
