HOW TO ADOPT: This cat is participating in our Shelter Cat Getaway foster program, which gives cats a vacation from the shelter and lets them enjoy home life while they wait to be adopted. To schedule a time to meet this cat, please contact Mary at mmccarroll@arl-iowa.org

- Thomas is an absolute gem - such a sweet boy!
- Has lived with other cats and has done well with them
- Is NOT a fan of dogs, and needs a home without them
- From the moment he arrived in his foster home, where he is currently taking a break from the shelter, he left his carrier with curiosity and confidence and has been perfect with eating, drinking, using the litter box, playing, and grooming
-He wants nothing more than a lap to snooze on for hours on end and has become quite the bed hog with his people at night
- He loves chin scratches and belly rubs
- He is simply a great cat, and will be a devoted and loving companion
All adoptable cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and FVRCP as appropriate for their age)
