I recently took him in from a previous individual who claimed to be his owner. Unfortunately, I was not provided with any veterinary or vaccination records, and despite multiple requests, the previous person has been unable to provide proof of ownership, medical documentation, or information about the veterinarian who allegedly treated him. Their explanations about the cat’s history have also been inconsistent, which has raised concerns for me.
The cat is generally sweet and has begun to warm up to me, but he is very stressed, and due to the lack of medical history and uncertainty surrounding his background, I am unable to responsibly keep him. I also have other cats in the household, including a pregnant cat, and I need to prioritize safety and proper care for all animals involved.
