Meet Cosmo! This handsome black and white Lab mix is a total sweetheart. Cosmo loves attention and is happiest when he’s getting pets, praise, or just hanging out with his people. He has a gentle, loving personality that makes him a joy to have around, and he’s sure to steal hearts wherever he goes.

Cosmo would do great in a foster home where he can soak up lots of love while he waits for his next step.

All of our dogs are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and treated, if necessary.

It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.
