Ofelia is currently in a foster home in Puerto Vallarta and can easily be flown to the nearest airport near YOU in the USA or Canada!
Ofelia is a truly unique girl with striking grey and white coloring, big golden-yellow eyes, and the cutest petite frame. She’s one of those cats who might make you smile twice—once because she looks a little funny in the most endearing je ne sais quoi way, and again because her personality is so warm and lovable.
She purrs the instant you touch her and absolutely enjoys affection. Ofelia is comfortable being picked up, handles nail trims like a champ, and has never shown any aggression—no biting, no attitude, just sweetness. She loves to play, enjoys pets, and is perfectly happy sitting beside you on the couch keeping you company.
Ofelia would do well in a home with kids, dogs, or other cats. With cats, she can come on a bit enthusiastic at first—she likes to chase and play—just social and energetic. She also appreciates having her own cozy space to sleep and unwind.
Whether as a solo girl or part of a multi-pet household, Ofelia is an affectionate, funny, and gentle companion who will bring joy, laughter, and nonstop purrs to her forever home. She has had our complete Cat protocol :

Two women, one American, and one Mexican met in Sayulita through their mutual concern for the many sick, abandoned, neglected, and abused dogs and cats in the area.
They began working together informally to rescue, rehabilitate, and find homes for these animals. Their efforts eventually led to the formation of Wet Noses Rescue, which has grown from a small backyard operation to an expanding nonprofit housed on a property with dedicated facilities in Punta de Mita. Providing the animals with health care, rehabilitation, socialization, and careful evaluation which is needed for a successful adoption to new homes in the United States and Canada.
Wet Noses Rescue also provides Spay/Neuter clinics in the local community to reduce overpopulation and vaccinations to reduce the prevalence of serious diseases such as Parvo and Distemper.
