Here's what the humans have to say about me:
🌾🤎 Meet Dupree 🤎🌾 4 months old | Male | Brown Tabby | Littermate to Cherise
Dupree is a thoughtful little tabby with a tender heart and a quiet curiosity about the world.
Like his sister Cherise, he came to us as part of a litter and was unsure of all the new sights and sounds at first. Big changes can feel overwhelming when you’re just a few months old. But with patience, consistency, and the loving guidance of one of our wonderful volunteers, Dupree has been steadily building confidence.
Now we’re seeing his personality shine through.
He’s observant. He watches before he leaps. He takes his time deciding who to trust — but once you’re in his circle, you’ll see the sweetest side of him. He’s learning that hands bring comfort, not fear, and that affection is something he can lean into.
Dupree would thrive in a home that understands that the best bonds are built slowly. He doesn’t need to be the loudest kitten in the room — he just needs someone willing to meet him where he is.
He is: 🤎 Neutered 🤎 Up to date on vaccines 🤎 Litter box trained 🤎 Growing braver every day
If you’re looking for a gentle soul who will reward patience with deep loyalty, Dupree may be your guy. Sometimes the quiet ones end up stealing the whole show.
Come meet him and see for yourself. 🌹An adoption application can be filled out on the DHS website https://www.dekalbhumanesociety.org/adopt. Dog adoption fees are $200.00 for all puppies and adult dogs. Seniors are a donation of choice. Cats and kittens are minimum donation $50.00
