Here's what the humans have to say about me:
🌿🤎 Meet Cherise 🤎🌿 4 months old | Female | Brown Tabby | ~4 lbs
Sweet Cherise is a soft-hearted little tabby learning that the world isn’t so scary after all.
She arrived as part of a litter and was initially a bit skittish — new places and new faces can feel overwhelming when you’re only four pounds. But thanks to the patient, dedicated work of one of our incredible volunteers, Cherise has been blossoming beautifully.
Now? She’s discovering that gentle hands mean comfort. Quiet voices mean safety. And humans can actually be pretty wonderful.
Cherise is still a tender soul — she may not be the bold, center-of-the-room kitten — but she bonds deeply with the people who give her time. Watching her grow in confidence has been something truly special. She’s the kind of kitten who will meet you in the quiet moments and steal your heart before you even realize it.
She is: 🤎 Spayed 🤎 Up to date on vaccines 🤎 Litter box trained 🤎 Learning every day to trust a little more
Cherise would thrive in a patient home that understands that sometimes the sweetest companions are the ones who bloom slowly. Give her a little kindness, and she’ll give you something rare in return.
If you’re ready to help a shy girl keep shining, come meet Cherise. Some stories are worth the wait. 🌹An adoption application can be filled out on the DHS website https://www.dekalbhumanesociety.org/adopt. Dog adoption fees are $200.00 for all puppies and adult dogs. Seniors are a donation of choice. Cats and kittens are minimum donation $50.00
