Gomez is now the very last of our Addams Family pups still waiting for adoption.
The Addams Fur-mily arrived at Castoff Pet Rescue under heartbreaking circumstances. These four pups came from animal control after a so-called breeder left them living outdoors, surviving on trash and rainwater. No beds. No clean bowls. No care. This is exactly why we beg people not to support backyard breeding.
Even though CPR was bursting at the seams, we made room in the hallway because sometimes you just say yes. And they have absolutely bloomed. Healthy, happy, and finally learning what love feels like.
Morticia, Pugsley, and Lurch have all found their homes. Only Gomez remains. We aren't sure why as he's the lover boy. He looks at our volunteer Kristinia, the way Gomez looks at Morticia. Total devotion. He is playful, affectionate, and fully convinced he deserves a soft bed and a spoiled life. He is not wrong.
These pups were treated like trash, but they are treasures. Gomez deserves the same happy ending as his siblings.
