Scruffy is a ridiculously sweet, people-loving cat who believes strangers are just friends he hasn’t met. He was found on the streets last spring with severe head wounds from an unknown cause, which led to a serious infection. As a result, Scruffy has a permanent head tilt and partial blindness with cloudy eyes — but don’t let that fool you. None of this slows him down or dampens his joy for life one bit. Scruffy plays with enthusiasm, batting around any toy you offer and happily shredding cardboard to his heart’s content. His absolute favorite thing, though, is you. He craves attention and affection and will be curled up in your lap almost the moment you sit down, soaking up love and purring his gratitude. Scruffy is resilient, affectionate, and full of life. He’s looking for a home where he can give (and receive) endless love, lap time, and companionship. Scruffy desires to be the king of your heart and therefore needs to be the only cat in your household.
Adoption fee: $200 (Includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, worming, and FeLV/FIV test - over $450 worth of veterinary care!)
