If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Archie is such a loving boy. We have had him for 3 years since we rescued him as a pup. Archie went through a prisoner-training program at the APL shelter and is very well trained with commands. Sit. Stay. Down. Come. He deserves a loving owner who will lounge around on the couch with him (his favorite thing). Also a huge cuddler. He's not big on playing fetch but does enjoy to run around outside. Archie just recovered from a successful ACL surgery. We have all documents since adoption including vet records vaccines etc. We love Archie so much and it will be so hard for us to part ways. The reason for our rehoming needs is because Archie has a small gaurding aggression when it comes to food, toys, vomit. He has had periodic aggressive encounters with our other dog over these items. Archie has never bit us or our other dog. He shows teeth and growls as warning signs. He would be best suited in a one dog home to avoid some of these instances.
