Pumpkin is a 2-year-old, 12-lb orange domestic shorthair, with a calm, gentle disposition, and a heart full of affection. Pumpkin is the kind of cat who chooses her moments thoughtfully—quiet and independent during the day, often found tucked into a cozy corner or resting behind the couch where she feels safe and relaxed.
At night, Pumpkin truly shines. She loves curling up next to you to sleep, offering steady companionship and warmth. She prefers affection over toys and would much rather enjoy soft pets, gentle pats, and quiet cuddles than an energetic play session. When she needs something, she’ll let you know with a sweet, soft meow.
Pumpkin is fully litter box trained and does well with other cats while still valuing her independence. She would be a wonderful match for someone looking for a low-key, loving companion who brings comfort, calm, and quiet affection into the home.
She is currently being fostered in Brooklyn, NY. Her adoption fee is $125.

All of our cats come spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, microchipped, up to date on flea and tick preventative, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. All adults are combo tested; for some litters of kittens who have not been exposed to other cats, only one kitten in the litter may be tested. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services and helps us continue rescuing animals.
