My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB: 11/12/22 Weight: 21 lbs.

Hank was adopted from a breeder as a puppy but was surrendered by his family when they no longer were able to give him the time and attention he needs. He's now in foster care waiting for his forever family.

Hank will be neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and tested for heartworms on January 30. His adoption fee is $500. He doesn't shed, but requires daily brushing and regular, professional grooming to say healthy and comfortable. Please consider this added time and expense before applying for him.

We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted. Adopters will complete an adoption app. If he/she has a pet, we will check their vet reference and a home visit is not needed (as long as the vet reference is current). All pets must be up to date current on Heartworm prevention and S/N. If a home visit is needed, we will complete that ASAP--as we don't want any delays in the adoption process. The adoption fees are listed here: https://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoption-fees/. There is a 5-day grace period to make sure he/she is a good fit for your family. A full refund will be issued if the pet is returned within the 5-day trial period.
