My story

Meet Salem 🖤

Salem is a 10-year-old gentleman who is finding shelter life a bit overwhelming. Changes in environment have been challenging for him, and he's understandably shy as he works to adjust. Salem prefers to keep all four paws on the ground and does not enjoy being picked up, but he shows his comfort in quieter, more subtle ways.

He would thrive as an only pet in a calm home where he can settle in at his own pace. Change is tough for everyone, and Salem will need a loving, patient person who understands that trust and comfort take time-especially as he prepares to adjust once again to a new living situation.

If you have a gentle heart and the patience to let Salem acclimate on his own terms, you may find a loyal and deeply appreciative companion waiting to bloom. 💛
