Tubby & Daisey are a beautiful pair of 2-1/2 year old female Shepherd mix siblings were surrendered to HSOV on January 14, 2026 for a heartbreaking reason since their beloved owner was no longer physically able to take care of the girls. Sadly, their owner passed away a few days after they were entrusted to us with the hope that we could place them together in another loving home.
Tubby has a black medium-haired coat with tan markings on her chest/legs, a long fluffy tail, and an adorable Shepherd face with tan eyebrows, and long slender muzzle, and large ears that she holds erect when she chooses to do so. Tubby's left eye is brown and her right eye is white/brown (commonly known as a 'cracked glass eye') which gives her the appearance of being slightly cross-eyed.
Daisey has a tan short-haired coat with black markings on her back, a long tail, and an adorable Shepherd face with tan mask and subtle black shading, a long slender muzzle, and short floppy ears. Daisey's left eye is brown and her right eye is blue which gives her a unique appearance.
These girls have the sweetest, most lovable dispositions. They were understandably rather nervous about finding themselves in adjacent large floor crates, but they have quickly warmed up to HSOV kennel techs/staff and volunteers.
Tubby and Daisey weigh 40 lbs and aren’t very large dogs when you see them in person. They don't appear to have been accustomed to walking on a leash, but Tubby and Daisey are intelligent girls who will quickly master that new skill with help from our compassionate HSOV kennel techs and volunteers.
Tubby and Daisey are being listed as a bonded pair since we feel that it is in their best interest to remain together.
Tubby and Daisey will be spayed before being adopted by their new family (a requirement for HSOV adoptions to be finalized). They could be fostered while they await their spay procedures so that they could enjoy a real home environment again.
Please complete an HSOV foster/adoption application and submit for approval if you would like to foster/adopt these sweet Shepherd girls.
