💞 Laila and Trixie are truly bonded. While Laila is gentle and shy, Trixie is confident, social, and endlessly loving. Together, they are a beautiful, inseparable pair looking for a patient, loving home to call their own
✨ Laila is still shy and doesn’t enjoy being held yet, but she will come to you for playtime and treats. She’s discovering that gentle affection from her humans can feel safe. She’s a quiet, sensitive soul who shows love in her own special way, sleeping beside you or curled between your legs. Laila was found with half of her ear cut. I don’t know whether it was an accident or cruelty, but despite everything she has been through, she is choosing to trust again, step by step
Their story 🤍 They were rescued from a dangerous parking area. The first time I saw Trixie, she was only three weeks old, alone, without her mother. She was incredibly friendly, following people around, trying to get their attention, but no one noticed her. She was so tiny and fragile, almost like a little rat 😞 Few weeks later, Laila appeared there and Trixie became her world. Laila was extremely afraid of humans and her ear was cut in half. When I saw a small child playing with Trixie as if she was a toy, I knew she had to be rescued immediately.
As Laila was afraid of humans and her only source of comfort and safety was Trixie, it was clear they could never be separated. Rescuing Trixie and leaving Laila behind was never an option. We have been working on Laila’s behavior, and it’s been so beautiful to watch her slowly come out of her shell and begin to trust humans. She is learning that people can be kind, especially if you’re holding a Churu or her favorite toy in your hand. She loves playing with humans and with her foster friends. 🐾💛.As always before adoption, all cats are spay/neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV, given distemper and rabies vaccines if old enough, flea and dewormer treatments if necessary.
