My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We are seeking to rehome our 2-year-old dog, Lucy, adopted from WilCo Animal Shelter in July 2025. She is spayed, microchipped, and fully up to date on vaccinations, and is on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.
Lucy is house trained, kennel trained, and knows basic commands. She is a high-energy, high-drive working dog who would thrive with an experienced owner who can provide structure, ongoing training, and plenty of physical and mental exercise. Lucy is athletic, intelligent, and both food- and play-motivated. She would do well in agility or other working activities. A large yard and daily long walks or runs are ideal.
Lucy is very loving but is a rough, mouthy player and jumps when excited, so she is best suited for a home with adults or older children. She is anxious and leash-reactive around other dogs and will need continued training. She may do well with a confident dog who can set boundaries. We love Lucy deeply and want to find the right home where she can thrive.
