Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, I’m Mortimi , a soft‑spoken, wiggly little sweetheart with a big personality and an even bigger heart. I’m the kind of cat who greets you like you’re the best part of my day: a gentle meow, a happy trill, and then a full dramatic roll on the floor to show you I’m ready for love. I adore being near my people, playing with anything that moves, and flopping over for pets with so much enthusiasm that I sometimes almost tip myself over.
Once I get to know you, I’m comfortable being picked up, though I’ll wiggle like a warm noodle because I’m just excited to be part of whatever’s happening. I’m still learning that hands coming toward me mean affection every time, so I appreciate a calm, predictable home where I can build trust at my own pace. I’m a curious girl with a playful streak, and I’d love a family who enjoys a little silliness.
I also have a signature quirk: the sink is my personal spa. I’ll hop in, sit politely, and wait with great conviction until you turn the water on. It’s my favorite ritual, and I take it very seriously.
If you’re looking for a gentle, goofy companion who will make you laugh, greet you with joy, and bring a little magic to your everyday routines, I’d love to be the one who curls up in your home.
I am fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for my age.

Twin Cities Pet Rescue (TCPR) is a small, 501c3 nonprofit, companion animal rescue organization. TCPR does not have a facility and is 100% foster-based. TCPR rescues dogs, cats and small animals of all breeds; rescuing them from city impounds, puppy mills, and other situations of abuse and neglect. Once rescued, all animals receive veterinary care ranging from spay/neuter, vaccines, microchips, and basic testing to specialty eye surgeries, pet dermatology care, and various other specialty treatments. Once an animal is rescued by TCPR, it remains in a foster home until adopted, no matter how long that might take.
TCPR often rescues animals that are considered “less adoptable” by other rescue organizations, as they are often the ones overlooked and truly left behind; and in need of the most help. These animals might be overlooked due to their age, health status, special needs or breed. TCPR works to help as many animals in need find their furever families as we can, especially helping those animals that need help most.
