My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Poppy is a beautiful kitty that needs a loving home. She was adopted as a kitten from the humane society in 2019 and has been a loving companion for 7 years. She is warm and friendly with me, her owner, but around others her personality is quite skittish and she gets stressed in new environments. I met my husband in 2023 and he also had a cat, so when we moved in together we had to introduce Poppy to a new friend. It took a very long time for her to adjust to life with another cat and she still gets very distressed from time to time, though she tolerates being around her for the most part. The main issue we have now is with our toddler. He is very active and likes to chase our cats around the house, which Poppy does not like. Poppy really needs a quiet, peaceful and calm home where she will not be chased or startled. I am pregnant with our second child and the addition of another new person may be detrimental to her. She would be best off as a solo pet with no small children.
