My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sable is a spunky and outgoing 4 month old kitten who is ready to party! This cutie came to us from another shelter that we partner with and can`t wait to finally meet her forever family! Sable is playful, silly, outgoing, and fun - this cutie is ready for all sorts of new experiences in her new home. We think Sable will do well in a home with other friendly cats (who can put up with her goofy kitten antics) and older kiddos who understand that sometimes kittens like to play with their claws. We aren`t sure how Sable feels about dogs just yet, but we will update you as we learn more! Sable is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, and up to date on her kitten vaccines! If you are looking for a tiny black whirlwind in the form of a kitten companion, Sable may be just the gal you have been waiting for!

More about this shelter

Eagle County Animal Shelter and Services handles all of the animal control and animal shelter services for Eagle County. We are a small shelter and are considered socially conscious, which means we are "no-kill" for space. We are always looking for volunteers, foster homes, and item donations. If you are interested in donating to the shelter we have a wish list available that includes lots of items that we use everyday here at our shelter to benefit the dogs and cats directly. Please call us at 970-328-DOGS if you are interested in volunteering. We love to have people come in to socialize our cats and walk and socialize the dogs. Come see us!!
