She's big, she's beautiful...she's Butter Butt. This puddle of love was pulled from West Haven by our friends at Hop Along Hollow. On a visit to the Hollow, we saw Butter Butt and fell in love. Our resident pat of Butter was initially cranky and morbidly obese; we are proud to share that she is now a socialite with a binky-ready body. Once a rabbit too uncomfortable and scared to move, Butter Butt greets our volunteers with enthusiasm and vigor.
Our adoption fee is a tax-deductible donation of $225. These fees help cover the cost of general care, veterinary exams, RHDV2 vaccination, and spay/neuter surgery performed by a rabbit-trained exotic animal veterinarian.
We primarily adopt to residents of Connecticut, and on a case by case basis, to approved adopters in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New York.
All rabbits are spayed or neutered prior to adoption to ensure their health and wellbeing. Should you choose to adopt a rabbit before they complete their RHDV2 vaccine series, you will be responsible for bringing your new rabbit back to the rescue on the scheduled day of their vaccination.
