🩷Meet Cardigan✨

Cardigan is about 5 years old, weighs 41 pounds, and is truly the sweetest girl. She just passed her cat test 🎉 so yes — she’s cat-friendly!

She came to us yesterday along with her adorable puppies. All of her babies are now safe and cozy in a foster home, and Cardigan is having a great time settling in at the rescue and soaking up some well-deserved love.

Cardigan came from a hoarding case. Most of the dogs were removed by animal control, and the conditions were heartbreaking — filth, feces, and neglect. But that part of her story is over. She is safe now. 💛

Today, Kristin was cat testing her and showed Cardigan her face on the camera… and y’all 🥹 — that little look says it all. 🩷

Cardigan is available for foster or adoption, and she is going to make someone an incredibly loving, gentle companion.

Let’s find this good girl the soft landing she deserves. 🐾💛

We're open to the public Saturdays from 10am - 2pm. Appointments are available during the week.

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

Mission Statement
To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
