My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

READY TO ROLL?

DOB 9/16/24

Meet Reagan – The road-trip torbie with a heart of gold! With striking green eyes and a thoughtful, somber expression, Reagan might look like she’s pondering the secrets of the universe—but don’t let her serious face fool you! Once she settles in, this gorgeous brown torbie is pure fun wrapped in soft stripes.

She’s got a soft spot for fuzzy balls (the bouncier, the better!), loves a good romp with friendly feline pals, and -- believe it or not -- she’s a car ride queen! Reagan travels like a seasoned pro, making her the perfect companion for both couch snuggles and road-trip adventures.

A little patience goes a long way: give her time to adjust, and she’ll reward you with a playful, loving soul who brings calm joy and lots of lap warming. Reagan is ready to roll. Are you coming along for the ride?

Additional adoption info

Adopting an animal is a very serious decision and we want to be sure that our potential adoptive families have thought about the impact of this decision carefully.

To adopt an animal through HOPE, we request that you complete an online adoption application:

for cats at http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php

for dogs at http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/dog-adoption.php.

We at HOPE make every effort to match our foster pets to appropriate homes. If you feel that we are too intrusive, please understand that it is because we care about their welfare.

FEES:

The $325 adoption fee includes transport, health certificate, spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites.

The $600 adoption fee includes transport, health certificate, spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for heartworms, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment for heartworms and fleas.

Go meet their pets

All pets are located in metro Houston, TX. Prospective adopters will apply to HOPE electronically. The applicant will be interviewed by the adoption counselor over the phone. There will also be an opportunity for the foster parent to speak with the applicant and introduce the pet over Zoom or a similar tool. On a scheduled transport date, the pet will be sent directly to the adopter via a transporter that HOPE has arranged.
