Judd is a 5½-month-old male Australian Shepherd mix and the undeniable big brother of his litter of five. Now tipping the scales at 46 pounds, he’s the largest of the bunch and still discovering how to operate all those long legs that showed up before the rest of him was quite ready. Think gentle giant in training, with a little “oops, where did my feet go?” energy mixed in.
Judd can be shy at first, especially around men, and truly shines with a calm, patient approach that lets him settle in at his own pace. Once he feels safe, his thoughtful, observant personality emerges. He’s a smart pup who watches closely, learns quickly, and genuinely wants to do things right.
He does well with other dogs and cats, making him a great candidate for a home that already has furry family members.
As an Aussie mix, Judd needs both mental and physical outlets. A physically fenced yard is required so he has a safe space to run, play, and build confidence while he grows into that big frame.
He is already crate trained and potty trained, though like any puppy his age, he’ll need frequent outdoor breaks and a consistent routine to keep building those good habits.
And then there’s the coat. Judd’s fur is still legendary. Bunny-soft, stop-what-you’re-doing soft. The kind of coat that makes you forget why you sat down in the first place.
With patience, positive reinforcement, and steady routines, Judd is going to blossom into a devoted, intelligent companion. If you’re looking for a big, gentle puppy with a quick mind, a tender heart, and legs he’s still learning to steer, Judd just might be your perfect match
Judd is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped.
