My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**Curious - Playful - Sweet **

Sticky Rice is the mysterious, curious, quiet type. He lets his brother Bao take the lead. He loves to wrestle and cuddle with his best brother Bao Bun. The busyness of the shelter is a little spooky for him, however he is coming around. He loves pets and bum scritches. He may prefers a quieter setting where he can get to know his new pawrents. They both LOVE a great wand play session. This is a great way to build a bond while helping to build Sticky and Bao's confidence. They are a dynamic duo ready to find their humans today. Like their namesakes, Sticky Rice and Bao Bun are best enjoyed together. Meet them in the communications office today and we'll chat with you about them.

HOW TO MEET ME: These Kitties are available for adoption in the shelter. Please do not apply for this cat online - to adopt this kitty you must visit CAT's shelter in Sherwood, Oregon (availability of specific cats is not guaranteed).

Sticky Rice and Bao Bun are a bonded pair and looking for a home where they can stay together. Their combined adoption fee is $175 (includes a $50 discount for the pair). For more information on Cat Adoption Team's pricing and policies, visit catadoptionteam.org.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Cat Adoption Team (CAT) is a private, nonprofit organization that relies on individual donations, grants, and our own fundraising to operate. We receive no federal, state, or government funding.

Adoption fees help offset some of the costs associated with providing for the cats and kittens in our care—this includes housing, medical care, enrichment, behavior modification, and more.

CAT uses variable adoption pricing. The adoption fee for each cat is dependent on many factors including age, behavior, health, and demand.

Adoption fees range from $15 to $200 for cats (1 year old and above) and $100 to $200 for kittens (2-11 months old). Thanks to the Aleece Runge Fund for Senior Cats, the adoption fee for all cats 8 years and older is waived. The adoption fee for each cat is included in their pet bio.

Adoption discounts apply for adopting a pair of cats or kittens. For details about our adoption process, please visit: https://catadoptionteam.org/adopt/process-fees

More about this shelter

Cat Adoption Team (CAT) is the Pacific Northwest’s largest non-profit, limited-admission cat shelter with its own full-service on-site veterinary hospital. CAT works with our community to find loving placement for homeless cats and kittens in need. The cats available for adoption from CAT come to us through public surrender and through partnerships with other shelters, rescue groups, and veterinary offices. CAT works to take in cats that might otherwise be euthanized. With the support of our CAT community, we help about 3,000 cats find new homes each year, plus offer low-cost spay/neuter and other services to support cats and their families. Thank you for visiting our site and helping us save lives!
