Goldie is a soft-souled, affectionate boy who’s ready to find a forever home filled with patience,
kindness, and cozy places to nap. With his warm personality and love for connection, Goldie is the
kind of cat who slowly but surely works his way into your heart—and once he’s there, he stays.

This sweet guy adores head rubs, and he’s not shy about asking for them once he feels safe. Give
him a gentle scratch behind the ears and he’ll lean in with complete trust, happy to soak up all the
attention you offer. Though he may take a little time to warm up due to a difficult past, Goldie
blossoms beautifully with calm, consistent reassurance.

Because of his traumatic history, Goldie thrives in a home where he has access to a quiet, dark
closet or hidey spot—a little retreat where he can escape from noise and recharge when the world
feels overwhelming. Once he knows he has a safe place to call his own, his confidence grows day
by day.

Goldie is a healthy eater and has made wonderful progress interacting with his foster home's
resident cat, who has much more energy than he does. After weeks of slow, intentional
Introductions, he’s learned to coexist peacefully and even enjoys gentle companionship.

He’s a lap time enthusiast, not a high-energy player. Toys aren’t his thing—love and pets are.
Goldie isn’t much of a jumper or climber, but he’d appreciate a small cat tree with a window view
where he can quietly watch the world go by.
