Bella is a gentle soul with a story that will tug at your heart. Originally trapped, spayed, and returned into an apartment courtyard where it was believed she'd be safe, her journey took a turn when she wandered into the street and was hit by a car. Miraculously, she survived, underwent two FHO surgeries, and has made a beautiful recovery. Despite her rough start, Bella's resilience is amazing in that she still harbors the heart of a cuddlebug.
Bella is full of devoted love and exuberant playfulness. She is incredibly affectionate -- a true lap cat! She adores curling up in laps to soak up attention like the sweetheart she is. She LOVES people and kittens, and her ideal home would be as a solo cat or have a kitten friend. All pets are located in metro Houston, TX. Prospective adopters will apply to HOPE electronically. The applicant will be interviewed by the adoption counselor over the phone. There will also be an opportunity for the foster parent to speak with the applicant and introduce the pet over Zoom or a similar tool. On a scheduled transport date, the pet will be sent directly to the adopter via a transporter that HOPE has arranged.
