Who's looking for an adventure buddy? Put me in coach, I'm ready! I'm very athletic and love to run and jump. I also enjoy playing fetch and tug of war. A big backyard or an active adopter would be a good fit for me. My foster family thinks I'll make an excellent walking, running or hiking buddy when I'm older.
Although I like to be active, I still have a pretty chill temperament, and settle nicely when it's time to rest. I'm happy to snuggle next to whoever is available or curl up somewhere cozy. I sleep in my crate at night. Sometimes I need to be let out to potty, but I'm starting to sleep through the night.
I'm making good progress with house training and will give you cues that I need to go outside. I'm crate trained, so that will help a lot in getting me fully house trained.
I've been very respectful of the resident senior dog and I love kids. I haven't met cats yet though. Since I'm still young I'd be best in a home with older kids or kids that know how to handle typical puppy behaviors. I'm definitely teething and explore things with my mouth, but I'm easily redirected with a toy.
My ideal adopters will understand that puppies require time, structure, and consistency. Id love to have a canine companion to show me the ropes, but my foster family thinks I'd be ok as a solo dog too. My canine foster sister is very tolerant, so I would benefit from spending some time with older dogs that can help me learn my doggy manners. With your commitment and continued training, I'm sure to become an All Star member of your family!
