If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
We adopted Luca through the local shelter with little to no background information. We believe he is a Lab mix and expect him to be somewhere between 1-2 years old.
He is a very high-energy dog who thrives on activity and going for walks. He is smart and driven but is happiest with structure and plenty of exercise. He loves to play, but has shown some resource guarding behaviors and we feel these would be limited in an adult-only home with no other pets. He would thrive with an experienced owner who can provide positive reward based training.
He is crate trained and does great through a normal 8-10 hour work day, or overnight. And he is up to date on vaccines and vet records can be provided upon request.
