My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Your new best friend is ready to meet you, it`s Stylo! This active, energetic, and sweet cat would love nothing more than to chase wand toys, destroy cardboard boxes, and get all of the pets that he can get! Just be mindful that Stylo is a less-is-more sort of boy as he is not a fan of being picked up or laying in your lap, but will be sure to keep you warm and cozy by curling up next to you (he still loves to be near his people!). An active and busy home that can offer him the playtime and enrichment he deserves would be the ideal home for Stylo! He`s even known to have done well with children so may be a great addition to your growing family! However, Stylo needs a special diet to help with his allergies but the counselors here can tell you more about that when you come to give him a visit. That`s all for now from Stylo, he can`t wait to meet you!

More about this shelter

CONNECTING LIVES SINCE 1922

From our earliest beginning, Calgary Humane Society was more than a shelter. As Calgary’s first-established animal welfare organization, connecting the lives of animals and people while providing essential animal services to the community remains our central priority.

Today, Calgary Humane Society (CHS) shelters almost 5,000 homeless animals each year. In 1922 we set out to help as many animals as we can and we will continue to do so by fostering the values of respect, compassion, commitment, teamwork, integrity and innovation.

Our mission is to help as many animals as we can.

Our vision is using innovative strategies to lead, inspire, and educate in the humane treatment of companion animals, fostering an enlightened community that consistently demonstrates respect and compassion for all animals.

Our dream is a community where animals are valued, humanely treated, and live enriched lives.

Calgary Humane Society is committed to creating a better tomorrow through education and collaboration.
