Mama Curie is relatively new to the VIP life, only experiencing indoor living since April 2025 when she was rescued with her four kittens, Pipette, Petri, Beaker, and Bunsen. It’s taken her some time to warm up to the idea of people, but with time and patience in foster care she has made incredible progress.
She loves gentle pets from her foster humans, even recently progressing to a brief lap cuddle! She’s still wary of strangers, and will hide when she’s scared. But with the right family who’s willing to give her the time and space she needs to feel safe, we’re confident she will reward their gentle affection with her sweet slow blinks and contented purring.

The lounge, located on 117 Edgewood Ave, is open for public walk-in hours on Friday to Sunday, from 3pm to 8pm.

Our cat lounge is home to between 15 and 20 adoptable cats at a time.
