My name is Holly Berry!

Holly Berry’s rescue journey began in a heartbreaking way. She and a few other cats were found in the home with their deceased owner. We don’t know exactly how long Holly was alone, but we do know it was far too long. Sadly, the family did not want the cats, and they were taken to animal control—until rescue stepped in.

When Holly arrived with us, she was immediately given a much-needed bath and taken to the vet. She was dehydrated, very hungry, and had an injury on her tongue. Because she’s an older gal, full bloodwork was done—and the results were perfect. With good food, care, and love in her foster home, Holly healed beautifully and began to truly relax.

Holly Berry is a sweet, gentle older girl who wants nothing more than love and a cozy place to rest. She adores pets and scritches and can often be found soaking up sunbeams like the queen she is. She has a calm, comforting presence and would make a wonderful companion.

Holly would be perfectly happy as an only cat, soaking up all the attention. She could also do well with another cat, as long as introductions are slow and proper.
