Mewsette was born approximately 8/21/2025. She was 10 weeks of age when she was found in the middle of the road. Mewsette loves to play with her buddy, Figaro and cuddle with one of the other adult foster cats. She even gets along with the crazy foster dog. Mewsette is a door dasher and runs to the door everytime it is opened. As a result, Mewsette cannot go to a home with children under the age of 8. She loves the kitty tease, laser pointer and anything else she can batt around. Mewsette has a lot of energy and can be a very busy girl. Due to her energy level, she needs another kitten or young cat in her new home. She wants to be where you are even if means you are in the shower. Her favorite thing to do is be your sidekick. She will lay in your lap to cuddle and purr the whole time. Mewsette would love a home where she can get a lot of attention and love.
If you are interested in adopting Mewsette, plesae call our voicemail at 952-259-1483 and leave your name and phone number or you can email cause4paws@hotmail.com Her adoption fee is $225 (includes tax)

The adoption fee for a Cause for Paws cat is $225. There is an adoption application that is completed and reviewed prior to the adoption. This application will ask for a veterinarian reference and we will check this reference prior to an adoption. The application gives us an opportunity to learn more about the potential adopter and whether or not the cat that they are interested in would be a good match. There is also an adoption contract that is completed at the time of the adoption. Because we are an all-volunteer organization, we typically will respond to an inquiry within 24 to 48 hours.

More about this rescue
Cause for Paws is a Minnesota nonprofit 501(c) (3) organization founded in 1998. It is a small all-volunteer group of friends who love cats and want to make a difference for cats in our community. The small group's main focus is helping stray and abandoned cats and kittens find loving, permanent homes. Cats are fostered in volunteers' homes; there is no shelter facility. The goal of every Cause for Paws adoption is a home where the cat and the other family members -- both two-legged and four-legged -- will thrive. Prior to adoption, all cats are examined by a veterinarian, Felv/fiv tested, vaccinated (including rabies and distemper), spayed or neutered, microchipped and registered, fostered in a volunteer foster home to determine the kitty’s personality, and received treatment for flea/parasite prevention. As funds allow, Cause for Paws also provides spay/neuter assistance for owned cats in the community, through its Cause for Paws Spay/Neuter Subsidy Program. The work of Cause for Paws is funded entirely by donations.
