My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Dahlia — a curious, independent sweetheart with a dash of shyness and a sprinkle of humor.

Found alongside her sister, Ivy, locked inside a Publix shopping cart corral, Dahlia has shown incredible resilience and adaptability. She’s settled beautifully into clinic life, charming everyone with her funny expressions, gentle spirit, and love of quiet exploration.

Dahlia enjoys peaceful moments tucked into cozy corners or perched atop the tallest cat tree, keeping a calm watch on her world. Her independent nature makes her a wonderful match for someone who appreciates a cat with personality, grace, and a gentle presence. While she may be shy at first, her affection grows with trust — and when it does, it’s truly special.

Dahlia is bonded with her sister, Ivy, and they must be adopted together. If you can open your heart and home to these two sweet girls — even temporarily — they will reward you with love, companionship, and endless smiles.

We realize we cannot save the world … but we can try by working with each rescued animal on an individual basis.

Go meet their pets

Because we are not a shelter, do not have a boarding facility, and are not connected with any other agency, we always welcome foster homes where animals can stay temporarily. We also welcome all tax-deductible donations from individuals or foundations.
No donation is too small.
