My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Animal Information: Cristy is estimated to be 4-year-old, 9lb Chihuahua mix. We pulled her from Moreno Valley, where she was at risk due to space and an upper respiratory infection. Cristy is a little shy at first, but is sweet with people and other dogs.

Foster Profile: Meet Cristy! This teensy 9lb, roughly 4 year old charcoal-grey chihuahua mix is a bundle of love and silliness. She wants to spend the whole day (and night) in your lap and will help herself there if not invited. Her fur is velvety soft and she loves getting scratches and pets. She has no problems with handling paws or putting on sweaters. She loves to be brushed and takes it as an opportunity to be close.

Cristy was a little shy at first, but she has started to play with her foster dog brother. She would do well as an only dog, or with a companion her size, or a gentle larger dog. She has not spent much time with kids or cats.

Cristy is potty trained and does great on leash. She is making good progress on crate training, sleeping through the night in the bedroom without issue. She complains about being left in the crate if you are home, but settles with time.

If you're looking for a couch potato, cuddle buddy, Cristy might be your girl!

Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, heartworm test, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization (ID 81-5101166).
