My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

✨ Meet Kirby — aka The Kirbster! ✨

Kirby’s journey hasn’t always been easy, but you’d never know it by the way he loves with his whole heart. This happy guy is always ready to greet you, welcoming strangers like lifelong friends and spreading joy wherever he goes. Don’t let his age fool you — Kirby is the perfect blend of wise old soul and playful puppy. He loves to play, adores his stuffies, and is just as content curling up for a full day of snuggles. Belly rubs? Yes, please! Snow, however? That’s a hard pass. ❄😄

Mealtime is Kirby’s favorite event of the day, especially when interactive feeders are involved — he’s a smart cookie who loves a fun challenge. Kirby is still learning the finer points of personal space and appropriate human interactions — mostly because he loves people so much! With gentle guidance and consistency, he’s eager to learn and responds well to structure, making this a wonderful opportunity to build a strong bond together. He can be a bit uncomfortable with more invasive handling (like reaching under him), but with patience and treats he's much more tolerant. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion with a joyful spirit and a heart of pure gold, Kirby is ready to be your best friend.
