Meet Ari 💚🍀

This handsome brown tabby with the biggest green eyes just turned lucky 7 (born 1-1-2019!) — and he’s ready to make 2026 his best year yet.

Ari’s story has a few twists. He was surrendered to Homeward Bound Cat Adoptions in January after his person reportedly passed away and the family could no longer care for him. When we scanned his microchip, it traced back to another rescue from years ago — turns out all the chips were registered to the rescue and never updated to the adopter.

A little mystery? Sure.
But what matters most is who Ari is today:

Come meet our cats! There is no appointment required, just come visit!

2.
Approve Application

Our staff will have a conversation with you about cat care and discuss any important information related to your chosen cat.

3.
Pay Fee

Our adoption fees are low and don't cover the costs of spay/neuter, vaccinations and microchips for each cat. Please consider donating!

Sign Adoption Contract

We provide counseling, information, and resources to empower people to support their cats and others in the community. If cats cannot stay with their families or neighborhoods, we prioritize our intake on cats most at risk - cats in need of rehoming; kittens who need specialized care; and cats who have been abandoned, are sick or injured, or are not thriving in the community. We are committed to ensuring the highest level of attention and care for cats in our adoption program and provide a modern, free-roaming adoption center to minimize stress, serve the individual needs of each cat, and set up both cats and adopters for success.
