If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
We adopted Luna as well as another puppy from Dallas Animal Services a few months ago after our older dog passed away. When we brought her home there were no issues initially. After a few weeks our other adult dog started being fed up with her high energy. Our other dog has always been the lead dog so her and Luna started butting heads some.
This past weekend it went further than we liked and don't want to keep them together anymore.
Luna is a very intelligent dog and has had sessions with a trainer to learn basic commands such as sit and stay. She is house trained to use a dog door and hasnt had an accident in months. While she can be very energetic at times, when shes done playing she is a big lapdog will lay with you for hours.
