Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet our beautiful and sweet girl named Hazel! Hazel is about 4 years old and she was surrendered to our shelter after her owners moved and could not take her with them. She is a timid girl right now, but she does enjoy getting pet. We are looking for a quiet home for Hazel that will have patience with her while she decompresses and learns that her new life isn't so scary. Hazel is friendly and has not shown any fear aggression at all. She is looking for a family that can make her feel safe and loved. Hazel is starting to show a little interest in toys. She is a smart girl who knows how to sit and give paw. Hazel will be a bit of a flight risk for a while, so her adopters need to understand she will not want to go to events in public where there are a ton of people. She has shown that she wants to be a cuddler once she is comfortable. Hazel is fine with other dogs, but she would do best in a home with a calm dog who isn't jumping all over her. She lived with cats in her previous home and was fine with them. Hazel can go to a home with children 10 years old and older who are respectful of dogs.
If you are interested in adopting Hazel, Please Email us at Adopt@savingpawsct.org for an application! Her adoption fee is $75.00.

All children in the home need to be declared and brought down to meet the animal.
