My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My life started off rough, when all I really wanted was safety, kindness, and a place to belong. Now that I’m off the streets, I couldn’t be happier, hanging out indoors with my people and other cats. I’m a gentle
soul who’s healing from some tough experiences.

At my core, I want the same thing we all do: to love and be loved. If you’re willing to give me a little time and a lot of compassion, I promise my gratitude and affection will shine through. Please give me a chance—I’m so ready for my forever home.

Since I arrived at PetSmart Abingdon (after my Spa appointment for Grooming), I have won over the hearts of the volunteers & the other resident cats. I am very friendly, I adore being held, I have a loud healthy purr, I enjoy playing & exploring, plus I'm a really good eater - I love my food & treats! Come meet me soon & fall in love with me!

More about this rescue

Shadow Cats TNR (SCTNR) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to assisting animals in need. Our mission is to establish and manage programs for the welfare of community cats, companion animals, and pet owners needing assistance, in collaboration with other community partners, rescue groups and shelters.

We specialize in controlling the community cat population through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR). As a result of the TNR process, we often acquire, along with feral cats, friendly and semi-friendly cats and kittens. We work to place these cats into appropriate homes through our adoption and barn cat programs. SCTNR seeks to educate the public on the importance of spaying/neutering all pets as well as controlling the cat populations in our county.
