Rosie is the absolute sweetest girl! if you want a cuddle bug and an outgoing best friend, she is your gal! She has been good meeting other dogs, has had her own pups and has been a great mom, she has met the cats here at the shelter and does not mind them one bit. Rosie has met a 11-year-old child and does fantastic with children. She is an overall fantastic dog that would make a great companion to any home.

1.
Interview

We ask you basic questions to find the right pet for you and your family. If all goes well, you get to come and meet the animals.

2.
Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

We have you come in to meet which pets you would like to meet. We want to find the best fit for what pet would be for you and your family!

3.
Meet the Pet

If meeting goes well with the people, we will have you come back if you have any dogs to meet them to make sure they get along well.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

We have a foster to adopt contract if the pets are not fixed/vaccinated yet. If all goes well, you can take your new pet home with you :)

Additional adoption info

If animals are not fixed and up to date on vaccines upon meeting them: We have you fill out a Foster to Adopt Contract. The pet will officially become yours once it is fixed and vaccinated within 30 days. We cover getting the fixed, vaccinated and heartworm testing, but you must take them to our vet (Davis Veterinary Service in Rensselaer, IN) If the animal is not fixed and vaccinated within 30 days, you will be fined and the animal will be confiscated from you.

We are a county animal shelter located in Morocco, Indiana. We are a small facility here in Newton County Indiana who house some amazing fur babies, come have a gander to a possibility of opening your heart to some amazing loving animals who might just be your next best friend.
