My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Dahlia & Ivy — a bonded sister duo with twice the love to give!

Found together as tiny kittens inside a Publix shopping cart corral, Dahlia and Ivy have grown into beautiful, resilient young cats with wonderfully complementary personalities.

Dahlia is the gentle observer — curious, independent, and quietly affectionate. She enjoys peaceful moments in cozy corners or perched high on the cat tree, watching the world with thoughtful eyes and charming expressions.

Ivy is the social butterfly — playful, cuddly, and delightfully talkative. She loves attention, enjoys conversation, and brings joy and laughter wherever she goes.

Together, they form the perfect balance: calm and spirited, thoughtful and playful. They comfort one another, play together, and share a deep bond that makes them happiest when they’re side by side.

If you can open your heart and home to both Dahlia and Ivy — even temporarily — you’ll be rewarded with double the love, companionship, and smiles.

To Do All We Can to Aid in the Rescue, Safety and Welfare of Stray and Abandoned Animals to end as much suffering as possible.

We realize we cannot save the world … but we can try by working with each rescued animal on an individual basis.

Go meet their pets

Because we are not a shelter, do not have a boarding facility, and are not connected with any other agency, we always welcome foster homes where animals can stay temporarily. We also welcome all tax-deductible donations from individuals or foundations.
No donation is too small.

More about this rescue

A Welcome Home Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit created to help the homeless, hurt and/or abandoned animals. Our end goal is to place each animal in a permanent, loving home where all their needs will be met. We believe every animal deserves humane treatment. We believe in our role as caretakers, protecting those who cannot defend themselves, speaking for those who cannot speak for themselves.
