Meet Maggie — a mama cat who lost everything in a single moment.
Around 5–6 years old, Maggie came to us after her owner suffered a stroke and could no longer care for his beloved cats. She arrived with her son, Obi-Wan, frightened and confused, with no history to tell us who she once was — only that they had each other.
Both Maggie and Obi-Wan are ear-tipped, up to date on vaccines, and FIV/FeLV negative. They were shy at first, but are slowly learning that they’re safe again. Maggie is a quiet, gentle soul who just wants peace, warmth, and her boy by her side.

More about this shelter
We are a non-profit, no kill spca. We will adopt out as many animals as we can, but if they never get homes, that's fine, either us workers will take them home, or they will be life time residents. They love it at the shelter. We do not house our dogs in kennels, they have big yards to run in all day, and only sleep in kennels at night. We are one unique shelter.
