D2026017 Any senior lovers out there? Well, Chauncy is looking for a soft place to rest his head. He is a Shih Tzu weighing a little over 7lbs. Chauncy's former owner had to move to a nursing home and Chauncy found himself in an animal control with his best friend, Willow. RCHS stepped in and took the two seniors in. Chauncy has some health issues we have been treating. First one is his eyes. He has what is called Microphthalmia (one eye being abnormally small, non-Functioning) in one eye and the other eye, he has suffered prolonged dry eye. He requires drops in both eyes, which leads us to the fact he is basically blind. The next issue is his teeth. He is in need of a dental, but right now he is not strong enough to be sedated. He is eating Little Ceasar right now and doing very well with it. Chauncy has been hanging out with Willow and enjoying his days. Please help us find him and Willow a place to enjoy the rest of their days.
