My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

💙 Meet Ranger 💙

Ranger is a true love bug with the softest heart. Every morning, he greets his foster with a wagging tail, asking to be picked up for cuddles before happily trotting off to “check on” his brother. He’s affectionate, gentle, and full of quiet charm—then suddenly playful when it’s time to wrestle or stir up a little sibling mischief.

Ranger is curious about the world around him but has a wonderfully mellow, easygoing nature. He loves being right in the middle of whatever’s happening—whether that’s lounging with the other dogs, hanging out on the porch, or simply soaking in the energy of his people. One of his cutest quirks? The way he lays down and neatly crosses his paws, like a little gentleman 🐾

This smart boy is making great progress with training. Ranger is about 75–80% potty trained, mostly going outside and also using potty pads and a designated porch area. If he gets overly excited or first thing in the morning, he may have an accident—but he’s learning fast and truly tries his best. He’s already learning commands like sit, gentle, leave it, off, and stay (about 75% there!) and is currently working on down. Of course, he definitely knows what treats are 😄

Ranger is gentle by nature and submissive with his siblings. He and his brother are growing up together in the same foster home, learning valuable social skills side by side. Both boys are gaining weight, thriving, and clearly very happy.

Ranger is the perfect balance of cuddly and playful—a puppy who wants to belong, be loved, and be part of a family’s everyday life. He’s ready to give his whole heart to someone special.

All he’s missing… is you. 🐾💙

Go meet their pets

We are based in Canyon Lake, Texas, with foster homes located throughout different parts of the state. Because we are a foster-based rescue, our dogs may be cared for in various locations and can be moved to certain areas to help them find the right forever homes.

More about this rescue

We are a foster-based dog rescue dedicated to giving a voice and a future to the dogs who are so often overlooked — street dogs, dumped dogs, neglected dogs, and those facing euthanasia in kill shelters. Every dog we take in is placed into a loving foster home, where they’re given the care, patience, and compassion they may have never known before.

Our mission is simple but deeply personal: to change lives, one dog at a time. We believe every dog deserves safety, love, and a forever home they can truly call family — especially those who may not have survived if left where they were. Through rescue, rehabilitation, advocacy, and education, we work tirelessly to give these dogs a second chance.

We advocate for the ones who can’t speak for themselves, even when others look away or believe it’s someone else’s problem to solve. For us, it’s not “someone else’s problem” — it’s our purpose. These dogs aren’t disposable, and they are never forgotten here.
