*** Petite & Sirah are in our PetSmart Aero adoption center. ***
Petite #20101: brown/black tabby, short hair, spayed female, born approx. 1/29/24 Sirah #20102: gray/black tabby, short hair, spayed female, born approx. 1/29/24
Cats: **BONDED PAIR**, no others Dogs: definitely no Children: patient/gentle 5+
BACKGROUND: Petite and Sirah lost their home when their guardian had a financial crisis and was no longer able to afford their care; she reached out to The Rescue House for help finding them a new home where they will be just as loved but their people are in a more stable situation.
PERSONALITY: Tabby sisters Petite and Sirah both love to play with toys they can “hunt-and-pounce”. They love a tall cat tree and assorted scratching posts. Petite is a bit more playful, Sirah is more talkative, and each is very affectionate in her own way. Petite will weave through your legs while purring at you. While they prefer to keep their paws under their own control and not be picked up, they will follow you from room to room to stay in your company. When you sit down, they’ll get on your lap or otherwise curl up next to you for a cozy nap while you watch TV or read a book… though admittedly they don’t always have the best patience with the book hogging your attention and will put their bodies in the way to ask for pets, please! At night, they are on the bed… and often on you, either tucked against you or stretched across your legs. ---Petite and Sirah play, eat, sleep, and do everything together. They MUST be adopted together.
COMPATIBILITY: Petite and Sirah need to be the only cats in their home and cannot live with dogs. Gentle children over five who won’t rush at them or try and pick them up but who can be patient and let the girls come to them should be okay.
Bonded sisters, tabby darlings, and loving companions… what more could you ask for?
